Caulking by All Waterproofing Systems

Caulking is the application of a rubberized compound in the expansion joints of structures to prevent the intake of water & air into that structure to ensure no damage occurs. Caulking is performed in many areas mainly wet areas, expansion joints, balconies kitchens. Caulking adds value to the look of the finished product when a colour is matched to the grout in the tile or the finished surface it will abut to.

It is recommended that you do not ignore leaky caulk. Ignoring leaky caulk can turn into expensive repairs as rising water can loosen tiles and panels that may later need to be replaced.

AWS perform firerated polyurathene for specialized areas and silicone for areas such as kitchens & bathrooms, expansion foam and backing rod is used when the area behind the caulking is to wide for the caulk only. AWS have experienced caulkers on call with fully equipped vans ready for your caulking needs.
